Wife and I made our way over to the bar to order something to drink since we arrived about 30-40 mins early intentionally to have a drink and talk, but also observe the environment. The place was pretty full and would continue to gather more and more as the night went on. Open feeling, yet still 'divided' areas to identify the bar area and general dining. No more darker foyer and closed off walls. The first thing that stood out from our previous visit was the open feeling to it. We were greeted promptly by the host stand and confirmed our reservation. We haven't been since it re-opened and wanted to get back at it since we missed it.Ĭircled the lot and found a decent spot, but this place usually (and later it did) has vehicles parked in the grass. When ordering, the sides are separate charges. Pricing: For 2 steaks with hollandaise & butter, ceasar salad, mac & cheese, potato, calamari, 1 alcoholic beverage, and 2 regular drinks it was $250.

They offer a variety: Fish, lobster, steak, lamb, salads, caviar, pork chops, pasta, bisque, etc. My fiance got a baked potato and it was ginormous (like 2 potatoes worth). Also ordered the mac and cheese and it was one of the best mac and cheeses I've ordered at a restaurant- creamy, seasoned and cooked well.

We also ordered medium rare steaks which were good, although my steak was really rare. Their calamari appetizer was good- seemed to have a chili sauce with it. I did not care for their bread served at the tables because it was really hard. Fairly attentive.įood: expensive but was good. Able to speak about specials and recommendations. White table cloths and dressed up waiters/waitresses. Spending that kind of money makes me feel forced to like their food more than I really did.Ītmosphere: very dark but cozy. If you are looking to impress, sure go for it, but there are many LC classy restaurants that blow this place out of the water with their food. I don't think it's worth it for the price when you can find equally as good food for less $. Would return, but only for special occasions due to pricing.
